Back in the 1970’s, Fender made a handful of prototype version of what they called a Starcaster Bass. This was model went against the grain of the hugely popular solid body Jazz and Precision Fender models, offering a semi-hollowbody with a very unique asymmetrical shape, and two massive humbuckers to deliver some delightfully un-Fender sounds. Due to the rarity of this model, it has reached virtually fabled status over the past decades, and now with this cool reissue it s easily available to add to your collection!
